About the Chef

Before expatriating to Paris, France for formal training, Pamela played with her food for decades! As a "second act" she decided to go professional.

Pamela's approach to changing professions is more calculated than daring.

"Everything is a risk - whether it be staying in a life that's comfortable but not satisfying, or swimming with sharks. After 15 years in consulting, working in 16 states and living on both coasts, I embarked on my “second act” and immediately felt like the shackles had been removed. I felt free. Pursuing the culinary arts was my big chance to put that life behind me and find my passion! Within a year, I was living in Paris, exploring every place I could get to, and earning my Cuisine Diploma at the very same school as Julia Child. And most importantly, I have not looked back".

Most recently, Pamela went plant-based and published her first cookbook “30 Days in the Jungle: Plant-Based Cooking in Hawaii”.
